Enrolment Process
- If enroling a child starting in our
school you will need to fill in a school
enrolment form and provide proof of age. e.g. birth
certificate.
- If enroling from another State School in Queensland
you will require a Certificate of Transfer from that
school and details, if possible, of your enrolment
number at that school.
- If enroling from another State in Australia we
suggest you bring your child's last report card from
that school. Proof of age will be required e.g. Birth
Certificate.
- If enroling from overseas we will need to see your passport and/or Visa category.
Preparatory Year
To be enroled at Moggill State School –
- children must turn five (5) years of age by the
30th June in the year they attend Prep.
- parent/caregiver is required to produce proof of date of birth before any child is admitted to Prep.
Enrolments/Transfers
An enrolment day for new Year One children is held in September. Administration staff are available for enrolment on the Thursday and Friday of the final week before school commences each year.
When transferring from another school, enrolments can be made at any time during school hours. An appointment may need to be made in advance to see the Principal.
Parents who are transferring a child from the school should advise the school several days prior to the last date of attendance so the necessary transfer papers and copies of reports can be prepared.
Current Enrolment
Currently, approximately 570 students make up the total campus population consisting of primary and Prep students. 95% of students’ parents are of a managerial or professional background and reside within the local area. Families are generally made up of two caregivers – one male and one female.
