Dental Services
Free dental treatment is available to all pupils at State Primary Schools. The School Dental Caravan visits the Moggill School each year. You may choose to have all dental treatment performed or you may have preventative treatment only. Participation is purely voluntary.
Health Services
Each year the school sister visits the school to test children's hearing, eyesight and other medical aspects such as posture defects. All Prep and Year 7 children and children new to the school are tested. At times a class teacher may request that a pupil from another year level be tested for a suspected problem.
School Banking
One day a week the school administrative staff conduct a sub agency for school banking in conjunction with the Commonwealth Bank.
Bus Services
A local bus service is available for children living in Bellbowrie and surrounding areas. The current operator is Mr W. Horwood, Southern Cross Parlorcars. The business telephone number is 3812 2520.
For children under 10 years of age, the distance from place of residence to the nearest state primary school must be more than 3.2 km for them to be eligible for free travel. For children over 10 years of age the distance must exceed 4.8 kilometres. Children living less than the above distances from the school are required to pay a fee to the bus driver. A Bus Travel Code of Behaviour is included in the Rules Page .
School Photographs
A photographer visits the school annually to take class photographs. Parents have the opportunity to purchase a copy of their child's class. Photographs are usually taken during first semester.
Lost Property
This is kept in the Library courtyard. Parents may go through this collection at any time. Lost Property Parades are held towards the end of each term.
Use of School Facilities
Individuals or Organisations must apply to the Principal for any out of hours use of school facilities. The Principal usually discusses any major requests with the P&C Association before approving any such application. Parents are reminded that the school is not a play place after school hours or at weekends.
